I was first introduced to massage therapy during my journey to heal my own chronic pain. Experiencing the benefits of massage and bodywork inspired me to pursue a career as a professional massage therapist.  I soon found that being a massage therapist was exactly what I was meant to do. It is always an honor to be part of a person's healing process.

I am a nationally certified massage therapist (NCBTMB) and insured through ABMP. I graduated from Touchstone Healing Arts School of Massage, a 690 hour certification program in Relaxation and Therapeutic massage.  At Touchstone Healing Arts I studied Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Professional Ethics and communication skills, Business management, Kinesiology, Somatic Psychology, Chair massage, Deep tissue, Therapeutic, and Swedish massage as well as an introduction in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Neuromuscular Massage, Hydrotherapy, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Aromatherapy and Shiatsu. Since graduating from massage school I have further developed my professional knowlege and skills through extensive hands-on experience as well as continued education in Nueromuscular, Myofascial release, Rotator cuff and shoulder dysfunction, Prenatal, and Hot Stone massage. In 2015 I completed the certification program for Prenatal, Perinatal and Postnatal massage.

In addition to my own massage practice I had the opportunity work at a Cedarwood Chiropractic for a couple years directly after graduating from massage school. This helped to expand my clinical massage skills including the assesment of and working with chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions. I have also worked in different spa settings where I have learned various spa treatments and accumulated hunderds more hours of hands on experience in Relaxation and Therapeutic massage.

Outside of massage I have a passion for living sustainably. My husband, Jon, and I practice this in our daily life by living off the grid in a home run mainly by solar power and cultivating the majority of our food for the year.
